One of my favorite photos! Love this girl!
Messy pigtails for a short time....it's all we get. P.S. I love her eyelashes!
She tries to blow bubbles but can't just yet.
She makes the shape of her mouth like she's really trying hard.
2. Mila has started saying a few words this month including "hi," "bye" "dog" (the g is hard for her), uh ohh, and "go." She still says mama, mom, dada/dar dar (for Daria), ummm, & "no."
3. Mila's preferred mode of communication is still sign language. I have been trying to keep track of the signs she knows and uses for her scrapbook (aka this printed blog each year:). Here they are: milk, more, eat, all done, dog, cat, bird, apple, please, thank you, cold, fish, hot, hat, outside, bubbles, car, stop, wait, flower, rain, bug, book, bath, and airplane.
4. We had one heck of a time with teething a few weeks ago. Man- it was rough including many days of fussiness and being sent home early from daycare with a fever one day. She seems to be doing better and has a lot more teeth. I'll be happy when they're all in.
5. Mila has started biting this month. It all started when she got bit at daycare two times in one day. She had a few days with multiple biting incidents but-she hasn't bit any kids in a few days (5 total) and I hope this trend continues. I think it's also related to the teething as she has put her mouth on my leg but not out of anger/aggression....more as something to do with her teeth that are likely hurting.
6. Mila loves to be tickled and to laugh! She now runs to the ottoman, leans her head back and waits to be tickled. I LOVE her cute little laugh.....it's soooooo adorable!
She is growing up soo...fast. Love this little girl.
ReplyDeleteI truly understand how you feel about sweet Mila. I feel the same way about my Gracie. There aren't words that can capture that feeling!
