Mila's First Bike Ride

With my REI dividend I bought the I bert baby seat that attaches to the front, rather than the rear of the bike. The guy at the bike shop said the rear seat would be better but- I have to say- I know my girl....she likes to ride high, up front, with the ability to see things (I think this is one of the main reasons she cried in the car....as soon as she was out of her infant seat/up higher - able to see- she stopped crying). In terms of the bike seat, she LOVED it! And- we were able to interact during the ride which was nice. At certain points she would lean her head back, I would tickle her, she would laugh and I just thought -this is shear joy riding with my sweet girl. Soon- she'll be on her own bike cruising around but for now....it's she and mama. Glad she likes it!
