Baby Signing Times

One day I was complaining to my friend Tiff about how my girl was hanging on me in the mornings as I was getting ready, I had a hard time taking a shower, etc. She mentioned I should buy "Baby Signing Times" as her daughter Eliza and niece Millie - really liked them. I just said -"I've been trying to teach her sign for 5 months....it's not working." And also- my girl really didn't like TV so I wasn't sure she would watch it. Well- Tiff was right. Mila loves the Baby Signing Time videos. I really didn't care if it was teaching her sign language.....if it kept her occupied for 20 minutes in the AM- I was thrilled. But, after months and months of instruction with little success - Mila now, with the help of Baby Signing Times DVDs, signs: dog (both when she sees a dog and hears a dog bark), cat, milk, more, eat, hat, thank you (looks like she's blowing kisses), please, brush teeth, wash hands, and all done. She also now does the little dance/signing routine from the beginning of the video. I really did not want her to watch much TV and - to be honest- this is the only thing she watches but it has been so worth it. And- it even works on our tough/fussy days.
